The Sûreté du Québec is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a robbery that occurred Saturday morning in Saint-Sauveur.
The man, believed to be in his twenties, allegedly forced a hotel employee to hand over the contents of the till to him using physical force. He then fled on foot.
The man is said to be around 1.75 m (5 ft 8 in) tall and weigh 73 kg (160 lb). He is said to have dark colored eyes and sport a mustache. He also reportedly has a tattoo on his right hand. During the events, the suspect wore a gray hoodie that read “EARTH” as well as black pants, black sneakers with white soles and a beige and gold hat.
According to the police, the man would speak French.
