Mounties believe a man wanted on murder charges may be in the western suburbs of Edmonton.

On Saturday, the Alberta RCMP major crimes unit appealed for tips on the location of 38-year-old Stavon Maurice Allen, who is facing charges of first-degree murder.
RCMP Cpl. Gina Slaney said the homicide occurred in Parkland County, but police have not said who Allen is accused of killing or when.
A news release said Allen is five-foot-six, 165 lbs with brown eyes and black hair. Police included two photos of Allen taken in 2014 and 2022.
His last known location was Spruce Grove, and he is known to frequent Stony Plain and rural Parkland County.
