The town crier of London, Ontario, Bill Paul, has passed away.

“If you didn’t know the name, you certainly knew the radiant face and booming voice,” read a facebook post by Mayor Ed Holder. “Over the years, Bill brought joy and unselfish, enthusiastic laughter to countless Londoners.”

“The best way to honor his memory, in my opinion, is to spread laughter and joy ourselves, as Bill did for decades with friends, family, and strangers alike,” the post continued.
