The Attorney General of Queretaro announced that it has arrested five more people allegedly involved in the fight recorded on Saturday, March 5 at the La Corregidora stadium during the match between Gallos del Querétaro and Atlas, where 26 people were injured, according to official figures.
“In the last few hours, five people have been arrested, three of them for compliance with court orders, one more who turned himself in on Friday afternoon before the Crime Investigation Police and another, who was insured for his possible relationship in the events. ; in total there are 22 arrests. The legal situation of the aforementioned persons will be resolved in the next few hours, “the agency detailed on the progress of its investigation.
The local Prosecutor’s Office also reported that a Control judge granted 11 more arrest warrantsfor which there are 40 judicial mandates regarding this case.
In addition, the agency reported that during the early hours of Saturday, 10 more searches were carried out, for the total intervention of 31 homes in different neighborhoods of six municipalities of Queretaro.
“The 10 searches, authorized by the Control Judge, which this morning are added to the total of 31 homes seized, were completed in the neighborhoods of Cerrito Colorado, Lomas de Casa Blanca, San Pedrito Peñuelas, Reforma Agraria and Linda Vista, Las Palmas de the state capital; El Pueblito, Lomas de Balvanera and Los Angeles in the municipality of Corregidora; in addition to La Venta in Pedro Escobedo”.
