Querétaro makes sanitary restrictions more flexible

Querétaro, Qro. The Covid-19 Attention Technical Committee unanimously endorsed a new adjustment to Scenario A The modification that currently governs the state —and with which the opening of economic activities is regulated— consists of expanding capacity and making restrictions more flexible.

This is the second time, in the current administration, that Scenario A has been modified to authorize a greater opening. The changes in the modified Scenario A pose an increase in capacity for economic activities, which is why the population was urged not to lower their guard in the face of the pandemic that is still active, as well as to respect health prevention measures: use the mask properly, constantly wash your hands with soap and water or use alcohol gel, keep a good distance and ventilate the spaces in which you are.

Some of the modifications to the scenario consist of increasing the capacity of shops, supermarkets and convenience stores, from 75 to 85%; for shopping centers the increase is from 60 to 75%; in restaurants from 75 to 85%; nightclubs from 75 to 85%; in addition to the sale of alcohol without restrictions, since its sale is allowed according to the operating license, every day of the week.

Hotels also go from 75 to 85%, also for entertainment centers and religious centers. Mass events and recreational centers with 50 to 65% capacity; the prohibition of work meetings (congresses, etc.) with more than 300 people, in the previous scenario the restriction was 250 people, among other measures.

The measures the adjustment to the modified Scenario A:

• Manufacturing industry, industrial establishments: Observe the “Specific technical guidelines for the reopening of economic activities”, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on May 29, 2020.
