Quebec reports 591 new COVID-19 cases and 2 deaths, hospitalizations decrease

A total of 425,393 infections have been confirmed in the province since the first was reported in February 2020.

Quebec also announced that two more deaths have been attributed to the virus, bringing the death toll in the province to 11,493.

On Friday, Quebec administered 8,120 doses of vaccines.

Since the beginning of its vaccination campaign, the province has received 14,045,495 doses of which it has administered 13,231,679.
