PSOE and Podemos meet this Monday to evaluate the government pact

  • The labor reform and the disqualification of Alberto Rodríguez have opened discrepancies between the coalition partners

The coalition government partners will meet today Monday at the monitoring table of the government agreement between PSOE and United We Can (UP) to try to redirect the situation after the crisis opened by the labor reform and the angry reaction of Podemos to the disqualification of his already ex-deputy Alberto Rodríguez.

Government sources have confirmed to EFE the holding of the meeting in order to redirect the tensions that have arisen between the partners in recent days.

The same sources recalled the request made last Friday by UP for the monitoring commission of the Government Agreement the two parties would meet and discuss the labor reform in the framework of a climate of “understanding and coordination.”

This same Sunday night it was learned that the former deputy of Podemos Alberto Rodríguez will not sue Batet, at the proposal of the new lawyers hired to prepare the appeal for his sentence for assault on a police officer issued by the Supreme Court, although he will appeal his conviction to regain the seat, according to his defense sources told Efe.
