Boris Borrisov, 48, of Toronto, was previously charged with theft – among other charges – after a missing person’s personal belongings were allegedly stolen.

Police alleged that the officer gave the missing person’s debit card to another man who then used the card to make a purchase at a store in Mississauga.

Further investigation revealed the officer and man were alleged to have fraudulently obtained vehicles.

Police say Borrisov on Friday was re-arrested on new charges in connection to the same missing person investigation.

It’s alleged a watch officer belonging to a missing person was stolen, and in a different investigation, on May 26, 2020, “a police took possession of a credit card that was subsequently used to make a purchase.”
