Waterloo Regional Police released a video of a woman they are seeking to speak to in connection with a robbery that occurred in Cambridge early Thursday morning.

Police say a theft was reported at a convenience store near Christopher Drive and Champlain Boulevard around 12:50 a.m.

They say a woman walked into the convenience store and demanded money from an employee.

He allegedly assaulted the secretary before leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police describe the suspect as being around five feet five inches. He was said to be wearing a scarf, a long-sleeved black sweater, and black pants.
