Police Investigate Hit and Run of an Injured Pedestrian and Dog in Caledon – Barrie | The Canadian News

Police are investigating a hit-and-run that resulted in injuries to a pedestrian and a dog in Caledon, Ontario, Thursday night.

The incident occurred on St. Andrews Road, north of the Charleston Sideroad and involved a vehicle traveling northbound.

The pedestrian was sent to hospital with non-fatal injuries, while the dog sustained critical injuries, according to police.

Officers said the vehicle involved did not stop at the scene. They described it as a silver or light gray sedan, and said there would be damage to the front of the car.

Caledon OPP is seeking assistance from the public in identifying the driver and the vehicle.
