Police investigate 18th homicide of 2021 in Vancouver – BC | The Canadian News

Vancouver police are investigating the city’s 18th homicide of the year after a man was killed Thursday morning in a stabbing.

Police responded to the Hazelwood Hotel on the Downtown Eastside around 9:30 a.m. after the man was reported to have been stabbed outside the building.

The 52-year-old man was taken to hospital but died of his injuries, the Vancouver Police Department said in a press release Wednesday.

No arrests have been made and the police are asking the public for any information about the incident.
