Police consider a fire in the Saskatoon shopping center to be arson, seeking help in identifying the person – Saskatoon | The Canadian News

The Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) says an arsonist was responsible for a fire inside a shopping mall more than six months ago.

Officers and the Saskatoon Fire Department were called in for the fire inside a Dollarama store in Market Mall on the morning of June 2.

Initially, the damage was estimated at $ 100,000. No injuries were reported.

SPS said the investigation has deemed the fire to be the result of arson.

Police have released a photo and are asking for public assistance in identifying a person they believe may have information that could help them.
