Placement of new housing slows down the pace in Nuevo León

Nationwide, new home sales from January to December 2021 reported their worst level in at least seven years, falling below 300,000 homes, according to figures from the National Housing Commission (Conavi).

Nuevo León was the leading federal entity in traditional housing, with a value between 854,400 pesos and 1.5 million pesos, with the placement of 15,916 units, which represented a variation of 17% compared to the year 2020.

Likewise, from January to December 2021, in the sale of housing with a value between 505,800 pesos and 850,200 pesos, the state ranked first with the placement of 22,480 houses, this represented a negative variation of -12.6% in relation to the same period of 2020.
