Pickup truck sought in deadly triple shooting in Niagara Falls

The hunt is on for a pickup truck believed to be connected to Friday’s shooting that killed one boy and wounded two others in an area of ​​Niagara Falls that is popular among tourists.

Niagara Regional Police say the gunfire erupted on Clifton Hill, near the Great Canadian Midway, around 12:30 am

“Homicide detectives can confirm that the victim, who was pronounced deceased at the scene, as well as two other victims who were transported to out of town hospitals are male and under the age of 18 years,” cops said in a statement released Saturday.

Police said the two injured teens remained in hospital in stable condition.

“A vehicle of interest has been identified and detectives are appealing to the public for witnesses who may have seen the vehicle leaving the Clifton Hill area shortly after 12:30am on April 8th, 2022,” police said.

Investigators have released images of a suspect vehicle, which was last seen heading west on Lundy’s Lane toward Montrose Rd.

The vehicle is believed to be a blue Ford F-150 Super Crew, four- doors, with dark tinted windows, a Tri-fold Tonneau bed cover and a moonroof.

“The vehicle has visible damage and is missing a door handle and the front license plate,” police said.
