Petrobras raises diesel prices in Brazil and puts Bolsonaro to the test


The Brazilian state oil company Petrobras He said this Monday that he will raise the prices of diesel at the doors of the refineries as of Tuesday.

The measure is announced less than a week after the president Jair Bolsonaro he had urged the company not to raise fuel prices again, arguing that it could bankrupt Brazil and cause what he called a “national upheaval.”
