Partial retirements for unemployment exceed 21,800 million pesos between January and November

The partial retirements due to unemployment that workers perform from the retirement fund managers (Outside) reached 21,835 million pesos in the accumulated period between January and November 2021, this figure is 1,775 million pesos higher than the 20,060 million registered in all of 2020.

Also, the amount accumulated in the 11 months of the year is 13.2% higher than the period registered between January-November 2020, according to figures from the National Commission of the Retirement Savings System (Consar).

Meanwhile, only in November 1,893 million pesos were subtracted from the Retirement Savings System (SAR), this is a record figure for a month of November. The November data shows that for 7 months the total amount withdrawn exceeds 1,800 million pesos.

At the same time, in monthly comparison there is a slight drop of 0.8% in terms of the amount withdrawn since in October the amount registered was 1,905 million pesos.

Likewise, there are 1.8 million workers who have withdrawn money from their pension fund as of November 30 of this year. This is an increase of 6%, compared to the same period last year.

In this sense, in the eleventh month of the year 174,067 savers made use of this right. In annual comparison, the figure had an increase of 3.9 percent. This is because in November 2020, 167,558 workers withdrew money from their afores.
