Pedro Sánchez ordered the mandatory nature of the mask on the street and the networks were populated with angry protests. More than one oracle hastened to prophesy riots, the definitive disaffection between citizenship and politics. Others accused the people of sheep gang, ready to obey until they are thrown over the precipice. Without going to assess the norm, it was still surprising to read some such fiery publications and compare them with what was happening on the street. For days, in many areas of the city, there were many who wore their masks in anticipation of the measure. Since Sánchez’s announcement, neither the streets have exploded nor are there bleating on the street corners. Have we lost the ability to protest? Are we sick of resignation?
