Brampton native Jonathan Osorio, coming into the game as a substitute in the second half, scored on a rebound in the 89th minute to give TFC the tie and a point. The other goal scored by TFC came via another Brampton native, Ako Akinola. Twice in the match, played under extremely hot and humid conditions, TFC came back after falling behind. Osorio picked up a yellow card in the 80th minute shortly after coming into the game after a bad foul. The Canadian international was fortunate it wasn’t a red. Osorio had missed Toronto’s last two games with a lower body injury.
