Ontario’s chief medical officer for health, Dr. Kieran Moore, announced Thursday that the province is expanding eligibility for the COVID-19 booster vaccine to residents 50 and older amid concerns about the Omicron variant. Eligible individuals can begin reserving their appointments for the third dose of vaccine beginning Monday, Dec. 13 at 8 a.m., Moore said.
