Watch out, Netflix. The platform war just had an unexpected addition. OnlyFans has started promoting its own free streaming service. Regular consumers of a product that has made its raison d’être from prohibited content for minors are going to be upset: there will be no trace of sexually explicit material on the OFTV platform.

More than 100 OnlyFans creators already develop original content that will go from humor to health, through gastronomy and fitness. In early 2021, the company quietly launched its streaming platform, but they did not start promoting it until it was not available in the apps of the smartphones. Currently more than 800 videos can be viewed.

OFTV serves, above all, so that content creators can promote their brand in a different industry. Access to the company’s uncensored accounts is only available on the web. To comply with the guidelines of the platforms, the OFTV service could not include any sexually graphic content.

The announcement came just as OnlyFans premiered the second season of Unlocked, a format in which the presenter Casey Boonstra interviews and tests content creators in hopes of showing the hidden side of some of their most popular faces.

Since its creation in 2016, OnlyFans claims to have paid over $ 4.5 billion to its creators. According to the company, the service would have more than 130 million registered users and more than 2 million creators worldwide. The most famous personalities with their own account are Cardi B, Jordyn Woods, Bella Thorne, Tyga, Amber Rose, Blac Chyna, Rubi Rose, Tana Mongeau and Trey Songz.
