Toronto-based production company Pop Sandbox has added two new music-centric tours to its phone navigation walking tour app.
The ‘Spadina Music Tour’ will take patrons through one of Toronto’s most musical neighborhoods, with over 15 stories written by Indie 88’s Lana Gay, over 90 photos and more from the Toronto Archives and Public Library from Toronto.
Meanwhile, Toronto’s ‘Gaybourhood’ tour explores some of the city’s most iconic LGBTQ + spots. This tour features over 15 stories from Then & Now’s Denise Benson along with over 100 photos and tracks from artists like Barry Harris, Rough Trade, Jackie Shane, and Vivek Shraya.
Both tours can be downloaded for free in the On-Foot app at Android Y ios.
