A sheep in Africa was arrested, yes, arrested, and sentenced to three years in jail for killing a woman in South Sudan.
The sheep was booked in South Sudan earlier in May after the attack, which later led to the woman’s death, according to msn.
“The ram attacked by hitting her ribs and the old woman died immediately,” said police chief Major Elijah Mabor. “Our role as police is to provide safety and separate fights. The ram was apprehended and currently under custody at a Police Station.”
The animal was caught and jailed and later found guilty of murder and sentenced to three years in a military camp, according to Times NowNews.
Though Mabor said the owner was “innocent” because “the ram is the one who perpetrated the crime so it deserves to be arrested,” the owner was ordered by the local court to pay the victim’s family five cows as compensation, according to NDTV.
