Monterey, NL. The Nuevo León Attorney General’s Office reported that this Monday, May 9, the genetic study carried out by the Institute of Criminalistics and Expert Services was concluded and it was confirmed that the body found in the municipality of Juárez corresponds to Yolanda Martinez Chain, 26 years old.
“A genetic study carried out by the Institute of Criminalistics and Expert Services of this institution is concluded, with a positive result for the identification of the lifeless body corresponding to Yolanda Martínez Cadena, 26 years old.”
As background, the lifeless body in question was located on May 8, 2022, in an uninhabited property in the Los Huertos neighborhood, municipality of Juárez, New Lionadded the Prosecutor’s Office in a brief statement.
Yolanda Martínez disappeared on March 31, in San Nicolás de los Garza. Her father Gerardo Martínez commented: “My gut feeling is that I am the father and that I have to start from scratch to go and follow in her footsteps, through the same area that she did, to see if I can (find her).” .
Last night Yolanda’s father was hospitalized after suffering a decompensation and high blood pressure problems, shortly after he was discharged. For more than 15 days, the man begged the authorities to look for his daughter, and the other women who have disappeared in New Lion.

“Here they found that people are fed up,” said Debanhi Escobar’s father. The 18-year-old girl disappeared on April 9, after attending a party in a country house located in the Municipality of Escobedo. His body was found in a cistern at the Nueva Castilla Motel until April 22.
