Nuevo León maintains leadership in placement of new and traditional housing: Realty World Mexico

The state of New Lion maintained its leadership in placement of new home from January to October 2021, with 34,094 homes and a growth of 0.75%, it also ranked first in the placement of traditional house with 13,056 units, as well as in popular housing with 18,528 houses, according to the Real Estate Monitor Reportfrom Realty World Mexico.

According to data from the National Housing Commission (Conavi), analyzed by Real Estate MonitorNuevo León ranked first in placement of new homes, with 34,094 homes, from January to October 2021, compared to the same period of the previous year, followed by Jaliscowith the sale of 22,265 units and in third place the Mexico state with 16,925 residential houses.

On the other hand, the commercialization of the segment of traditional housewith a value between 854,400 pesos and 1,487,000 pesos, was led by Nuevo León with 13,056 homes in the first 10 months, with a variation of 25.2% compared to the same period last year.

It was followed by the State of Mexico with 12,769, with an increase of 14.6% compared to the same period in 2020, and Jalisco with 9,277 units, that is, an increase of 13.1 percent, compared to January-October 2020.

Regarding the placement of luxurious houses, or residential plus, with a value greater than 6.3 million pesos, the leaders in sales were Mexico City with 6,086 houses (increase of 34.4%); State of Mexico with 2,756 units (a variation of 42.1%) and Nuevo León with 2,660 luxury homes (a rise of 49.7%).

The segment of residential housing with a value between 3.2 and 6.3 million pesos, in Mexico City it reached maximum levels, with 7,897 units and (an increase of 21.8%); Nuevo León with 5,806 houses (a variation of 47.89%) and Jalisco with 5,341 (27.29%), according to the Real Estate Monitor analysis.
