Norma Liliana Rodríguez Argüelles will compete to lead the ISSSTE union


The doctor Norma Liliana Rodriguez Arguelles registered as a candidate to contend for the general secretary of the National Union of ISSSTE Workersthrough the blue form and hopes that due to her career, as secretary of finances of the union organization itself, she will achieve the vote in favor of the 80,000 workers.

She would be the second woman to hold the position for the leadership of the Trade Union Organization in this case for the period 2022-2026, so on May 11 delivered 44,270 signaturesof all sections 48, before the National Electoral Committee to formally request her registration as a candidate and before a public notary she received her proof of registration of the payroll.

As part of her career, the candidate to occupy the general secretary, has participated in the Board of Directors of the National Medical Center “20 de Noviembre”, of the 14 Regional Hospitals and of the School of Dietetics and Nutrition, as well as in the Advisory Councils of the 35 Regional and State Delegations of the ISSSTE in aspects such as financial and administrative to prepare proposals for the benefit of the workers and the Institute.
