New COVID-19 Testing Facility Opens at Winnipeg – Winnipeg Airport | The Canadian News

Those traveling outside of the Winnipeg airport now have a convenient new place to get tested for COVID-19.

A new test facility operated by Canadian biotechnology and medical research company CardiAl is opening at the airport.

The new location will be inside the terminal building on the departures level on the east end beyond the airline check-in counters.

“We look forward to playing a critical role in helping those wishing to travel receive the results they need to enter selected regions, gain peace of mind, and help us continue to work together to stay ahead of the curve for this virus,” said Dr. Anmol. CardiAl’s Kapoor said.

The facility will be open seven days a week between 3:30 am and 2 pm for rapid anti-gene tests ($ 59) and Monday through Friday for PCR tests ($ 149).

The site will be open for walk-ins as well as scheduled appointments and some same-day results will be available.
