The weekend was under surveillance. The police on Saturday drew up nearly 4,600 verbalizations throughout France for non-compliance with the curfew set at 6 p.m., while the temperatures were mild, the Interior Ministry announced on Sunday.
“54,626 checks of people and 393 for irregular openings of establishments open to the public were recorded, of which 113 concerned drinking establishments and illegal restaurants,” said the ministry, adding that “4,593 verbalizations of all categories were noted during curfew”.
According to the ministry, since December 15, “more than 3 million checks have been carried out and 277,000 reports have been established”.
