Halifax Regional Police say they had a busy night breaking up a massive street party downtown.

They say it started with a flood noise complaints coming from Jennings Street.

Police say that when officers got there, they found thousands of people partying on the street.

They say the agents ended up arresting 10 men and one woman for public intoxication.

Numerous fines were also issued for illegal possession of non-alcoholic liquor.

Police say they are continuing to investigate the incident and hope to dish out even more fines.
