Morena appoints its candidates for the government of six states through polls

The National Regeneration Movement party (Brunette) appointed, through polls, Nora Ruvalcaba, Marina Vitela, Julio Menchaca, Salomón Jara, Mara Lezama and Américo Villarreal as their candidates for governors of Aguascalientes, Durango, Hidalgo, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo and Tamaulipas, respectively, who will compete in the elections June 5, 2022.

“Being five men (who) won (the polls), we had the need to establish a rule of parity. We needed to comply with the rule of parity, but at the same time enhancing the capacity for triumph that our movement has in the federative entity; We needed a combination that would allow us to enhance the ability to win, minimize risks and, at the same time, comply with a parity rule, ” explained Mario Delgado Carrillo, Morena’s national president, early this Thursday when informing about the designated candidates. .

Throughout the whole day of Wednesday, the morenista reported the results of the polls in each of the six states where the governorship will be renewed next year.

The party’s national leadership conducted a survey, the results of which were corroborated with mirror polls carried out by the demoscopic companies Buendía, Covarrubias, and Mendoza.

“The average in Aguascalientes is that we have a voting intention of 20.07% based on the results of the different pollsters; In Durango we have a voting intention for Morena, on average, of 35.77%; in Hidalgo, 41%; in Oaxaca, 50.7%; in Quintana Roo, 44.5%; and in Tamaulipas, 43.56 percent, ” Delgado Carrillo reported.

He explained that in the states where the party has a greater intention to vote, as in Oaxaca, the gender of whoever won the polls was respected.

“The second state with the highest level of voting intention, clearly, is Quintana Roo. Therefore, in Quintana Roo the gender of who won the poll is respected, in this case Mara Lezama; (a) woman won, therefore, the final criterion of female parity remains. ”

In Aguascalientes and Durango it was decided to nominate women, he said, to comply with the gender parity requirement that the law requires.

“Automatically, having already three men, in Tamaulipas, Oaxaca and Hidalgo, then it is resolved that the next two states, Durango and Aguascalientes, will lead women despite the fact that men won in these two entities, the polls. In this way we meet the criteria of fairness and also maximize the possibility of success of our movement. ”

The Morenoist leader boasted that his party will be victorious in the six states that will renew governor in 2022. “We are with the greatest optimism; say we are going for six out of six; We have no qualms about saying that we are going through these six entities. ”

Finally, he thanked the support of the allies of Brunette, the Labor parties (PT) and the Green Party (PVEM), as well as Nueva Alianza.
