Montreal police investigate after shot fired in Pierrefonds

Montreal police added another firearms-related investigation to their files after at least one shot was fired late Tuesday in the borough of Pierrefonds.

The incident began around 10:15 pm at the corner of Pierrefonds Blvd. and Athéna St. when police received reports of at least one shot being fired.

Officers found a spent cartridge casing but no victim, suspect or apparent damage.

Investigators will try to examine recordings by local surveillance cameras in an effort to determine what happened.
