Montreal: collision between a car and an electric motorcycle

A motorcyclist was injured on Sunday following a collision with a car in the borough of Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, in Montreal.

The accident occurred around 12:35 p.m. at the corner of Beaubien and François-Boivin streets while a motorist was trying to perform a face. He would then have collided with an electric motorcycle, explained Mariane Allaire-Morin, spokesperson for the Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).

The motorcyclist would then have been expelled from his racing car. He was taken to hospital for treatment of upper body injuries.

The driver of the car suffered no injuries.

A scene has been erected to allow investigations to determine the exact causes of this accident.
