Moderna says it will develop vaccine booster against Omicron variant of Covid-19

Modern announced on Friday its intention to develop a specific booster dose for the new variant omicron from Covid-19, detected in South Africa and considered “worrisome” by the WHO.

“Modern will rapidly develop a candidate vaccine for a variant-specific booster dose Omicron“, the American company said in a statement.
