Miguel Hidalgo reduces time in business and investment procedures

In its first 100 days of government, the Miguel Hidalgo Mayor’s Office, in order to reduce processing times so that micro, small and large companies have security in their investments and thus promote economic reactivation, has more than 2,000 legal proceedings in a small attended again.

An example of this, according to information from the mayor’s office, is the attention paid to 286 procedures in the System of Notices and Permits for Commercial Institutions, which support the opening of small businesses that help activate the family economy, as well as various procedures for regularizing restaurants. which was pending for months, until before October 2021.

This type of procedure took between 6 months and a year to resolve, but now it is a response within 30 days.

Another item where response times have been shortened is the requests for alignments and official numbers addressed from November, which resolved 131 procedures of this type in five days, as opposed to the three months the petitions previously had to wait.

In addition to this compliance, the resolution of 69 requests of this type that had left the previous administration pending was reached.

As for the licensing process, the current government started by addressing 118 delayed applications, while 144 procedures were resolved in the first 100 days of Mauricio Tabe Echartea’s current administration.

These licenses relate to demolition, installation of structures and excavations, procedures that took up to four months to complete, a time reduced to three days.

With regard to advertisements for demolition and new works, attention was paid to four pending proceedings and 16 which reached this mayor’s office between October and January; 27 which are being reviewed and another 9 which are within 15 days on which citizens may disagree.

In the previous administration, a procedure of this type lasted at least three months; Currently, the terms have been reduced to only 30 days.

These actions made it possible to eliminate acts of corruption as well as to inhibit coyotes.
