Mexico registers 4,325 new cases of Covid-19 and 87 deaths


The Health Secretary (Ssa) updated this Friday to 5 million 719,829 the official number of cases of Covid-19 that have been confirmed in Mexico so far in the pandemic. Deaths rose to 323,595, he detailed in his daily report.

Compared to the data reported yesterday by the federal agency, the new data implies increases of 4,325 cases and 87 new deaths.

At the information cutoff, 7,264 active cases are reported (those who presented the first symptoms within the recent 14 days) with an incidence rate of 5.6 among 100,000 inhabitants, but up to 7,897 active cases are estimated.

The states with the highest incidence rates in the country are Aguascalientes, Baja California Sur, Mexico City (leading accumulated cases), Colima, Nayarit, Quintana Roo, Baja California, Campeche, San Luis Potosí and Veracruz.
