The Health Secretary (Ssa) updated to 3 million 947,284 the official number of cases of Covid-19 accumulated in Mexico. The report this Friday, December 24, also totals 298,670 deaths associated with this disease.
Against the figures reported yesterday by the health authorities, the new data means increases of 3,520 infections and 162 new deaths.
As of today’s information cutoff, there are 19,628 active cases registered with an incidence rate of 15.2 per 100,000 inhabitants.
The entities with the highest incidence rates in the country are Baja California Sur, Baja California, Chihuahua, Mexico City, Aguascalientes, Sonora, Coahuila and Guanajuato, as well as San Luis Potosí and Quintana Roo.
