Mexico registers 1,121 new infections of Covid-19 and 150 deaths

The Ministry of Health (Ssa) reported this Monday in its technical report that the number of cases of Covid-19 that have been confirmed in Mexico rose to or 3 million 784,448 total cases. The official number of total deaths in the country rose to 286,496.

Compared with the data provided by the agency yesterday, the new figures mean that 1,121 new infections were reported when the information was cut off and 150 people died from the disease caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.

The health authorities reported that the incidence rate of accumulated cases in the country is 2,934.3 per 100,000 inhabitants and that, by sex, there is a predominance of women (50.1%). The median age is 39 years.

In the report, it is confirmed that in Mexico there are 25,207 active cases (those that presented symptoms in the recent 14 days), with an incidence of 19.5 per 100,000 inhabitants, but the number of active cases estimated is 26,719.

The 10 states with the highest incidence rates are: Mexico City, Mexico state, New Lion, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Tabasco, Puebla, Veracruz, Sonora and San Luis Potosi.
