Mayor Bruno Marchand is grateful that the vast majority of protesters opposed to sanitary measures behaved well this weekend.

A minority did not respect the rules, he said during a press briefing given in front of the town hall around 6 p.m.
The work of the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) and Quebec City employees has been “colossal”, according to him, to avoid slippages.
“I want to highlight the work of the police,” testified the mayor shortly after the last trucks left René-Lévesque Boulevard.
