The body of a man was recovered Friday morning from the waters of the St. Lawrence River in the Pointe-aux-Trembles area of Montreal.

An emergency call was received around 11 am on Friday to report a body had been found on the banks of the Promenade-Bellerive park.
At the location, police found the lifeless body of a man who did not have any signs of violence, according to the first observations.
This is not a criminal act, the SPVM later confirmed.
