Investigators need help with a robbery investigation involving a person in a wheelchair in Scarborough last month.

Toronto Police say the victim was at an ATM in the area of ​​Grangeway Ave. and Progress Ave. — east of McCowan Rd. — around 8:45 am on March 29 when a thief grabbed a bag off the victim’s wheelchair.

The victim was able to get the bag but the suspect pulled it from the victim, stole items from the bag, then fled on foot, police say.

Police are looking for a man described as 30 to 35 years old, 5-foot-8, about 175 pounds, clean shaven, with a slim build, and and at the time was wearing a black winter coat with a brown fur trim, black pants, black touch and black sneakers.
