A 28-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries after an assault on Monday afternoon.
Scott Pattison, a communications advisor for EPS, said police were informed that an adult man suffered what appeared to be a stab wound in a parking lot at 97 Street and 107 Avenue. Officers responded to the call around 3:15 p.m.
The victim suffered serious injuries and remains in the hospital, Pattison said.
The incident is still under investigation, and Pattison said anyone with information should call police at 780-423-4567 or 377 from their mobile device.
