A work accident in St-Rémi, Montérégie, resulted in the death of a man in his 50s on Saturday.

According to the Sûreté du Québec, the worker came into contact with an electrical cable while doing pruning work in St-Louis St.

An investigator and forensic identity technicians with the collaboration of Committee on Standards, Equity, Health and Occupational Safety (CNESST) are in place to establish the causes and circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.
