A man in his 30s was arrested for drunk driving Thursday night after an accident on Mille Isles Rd. In the Laurentian township of Mille-Isles.

The man deviated from his lane and collided with a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction, according to the Sûreté du Québec.

The driver of the other vehicle was injured and taken to hospital, but his life is not in danger.

The woman, in her 40s, was trapped in her vehicle after the collision, and it took the jaws of life to pull her out of the rubble, according to police spokeswoman Marythé Bolduc.

Police have not confirmed whether the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
