Nicole has very thick and long hair, which was previously highlighted. It had been several months since she’d been into the salon and her hair was quite neglected and she needed a little TLC. I applied cool-beige highlights to brighten her outgrowth and incorporate a strategic low-lights, in a golden blonde, to create warmth and depth. I then refined the color using a demi-permanent glaze in a cool-blonde, creating a beautiful, lustrous and shiny looking finish.

I cleansed her hair with Oribe – Goldlust Shampoo and Conditioner, to restore and rejuvenate her hair. To the mid-lengths and ends, I layered Oribe – Supershine Moisturizing Cream for added hydration and heat protection. I eliminated several inches from her length and incorporated layers and a soft curtain fringe, resulting in a gorgeous textured and tousled shape.

Before styling I applied Oribe – Crème for Style, for long-lasting style support and frizz taming. I blow-dried her hair with a round brush, touched up mid-lengths and ends with a curling wand and finished with Oribe – Flash Form Finishing Spray Wax for weightless, buildable and long-lasting hold.

Makeup:

To enhance Nicole’s eye shape, I drew a cat eye on her upper lid using a black waterproof liner. I layered above the liner with a rich espresso brown to create softness and followed by curling and coating her lashes with black mascara. I evened out her complexion de ella using a brightening foundation, then lightly contoured her face de ella with a bronzing powder and highlighter. To complete the look, I enhanced and defined her eyebrows de ella with a brow gel and dressed her mouth with a sheer neutral-apricot lip colour.
