At 71, Nada has thick density and naturally silver hair. She loves its lengths and wanted to shape it to make it look less boring and drab.

I cleaned her hair with Oribe – Silverati Shampoo and Conditioner, to illuminate and enhance her silver tone. I applied Oribe – Supershine Moisturizing Cream to the mid-lengths and ends for added hydration and heat protection, and began cutting her hair into an elongated, layered shape that framed her face. I incorporated a full bangs to frame her eyes and really show off her beautiful natural hair color.

Before styling, I sprayed Oribe – Foundation Mist to prep the hair and then blow dry her hair with a round brush. I used a 1 inch curling wand to create a smooth curve and texture in her hair, then I straightened her bangs and finished the Oribe style – Matte Waves Waves Texture Lotion and Silverati – Illuminating Pomade.

Makeup:

For Nada’s makeup I wanted to define her eyes. I used a cream shadow to outline her eyelid and smoked it with a cool brown eyeshadow. I also made sure to fill in her brows and applied a double coat of mascara to give her more definition. I applied some green corrective primer to her skin to remove some redness and lightly applied a BB Cream to even out her complexion. On her lips, I chose a long-lasting vibrant fuchsia lipstick and brightened her cheek with a hint of plum blush.

Makeup used:

Primer: Make Up For Ever Step 1 Primer (Green)

Concealer: Laura Mercier’s Secret Camouflage # 2
