Lorena Alfaro, from Sant Cugat station after the collapse: “They didn’t inform us of anything”

Lorraine Alfaro, 20, was in the Railway station of the Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) of Sant Cugat to go towards Barcelona when the collapse occurred in Terrassa. As she explains, while she (and many more people) went to look for the train, a large number of workers have forced them to change course, since they told them that all trains heading to Sabadell and Barcelona would run on the same track and those who went to Terrassa were taken elsewhere. “They told us that we could not access, but they did not explain why” he declares, “in addition, at the beginning when we were on the road there was no one, nor security,” he adds.
