Liquor Marts, Winnipeg Casinos Deliver KN95 Masks to Customers

During your next trip to the liquor store in the next few days, you might end up with something more than a six-pack.

Reg Helwer, Minister of Central Services, announced Wednesday that the province is partnering with Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries (MBLL) to make KN95 skins available to customers at Winnipeg and Manitoba Liquor Marts casinos.

In the tweet, Helwer said the reason for the association is an attempt to help Manitobans protect themselves from the Omicron variant.

A spokesperson for MBLL confirmed that there is one KN95 mask pack available, free of charge, per customer, while supplies last.

CTV Winnipeg has contacted the province for more information.
