Line 2 Bloor-Danforth closed from Broadview to Woodbine: TTC

Commuters taking the line two Bloor-Danforth subway on Saturday morning were met with delays, as the TTC stopped service between Broadview and Victoria Park stations.

The TTC tweeted just before 10 am this morning the closure was due to “an injury on the tracks.” Minutes later, the TTC updated the subway was only closed between Broadview and Woodbine stations, and that shuttle buses would resume service.

Forty-seven shuttle buses were sent to restore service to the closed area, said Mary Davidson, a spokesperson for the transit commission. She confirmed there had been an “injury at track level.”

“We are working to resume service as soon as possible.”
