Re “O’Toole deserves a second chance?” (Brian Lilley, September 21): When Erin O’Toole entered the liberal world (carbon taxes, vaccine passports, etc.), I told my daughter, a PPC supporter, that it was necessary to follow those steps in false if it would rid Canada of Trudeau. O’Toole’s concessions didn’t work, obviously. While she was less successful than I was, the morning after the election my daughter’s integrity was intact as she remained true to her beliefs. My integrity, on the other hand, was wasted trying to appease voters who had no interest in the conservative point of view, regardless of the concessions. So should O’Toole get another chance? I do not think so. Next time I’d rather keep my beliefs intact. Along with my integrity.

Thank you, Maxime Bernier, for not reading and learning from history. Perhaps he forgot about the Reform Party and how it divided the Conservative vote. You have a lot of good ideas, you have passion, why not take this passion, meet with conservatives, and help repair the enormous damage done to Canada by divisive liberals who hate the West. We need you here.

It has been debated and promised for decades. The electoral system must change if almost 70% do not want it but still get the job.

Well once again the GTA votes in Trudeau and the ROC (rest of the country) pays. New road sign as you enter Toronto: “Welcome to Loserville” (we love paying higher taxes and supporting corrupt politicians). The ROC does not see the humor in which you do this to us in every election. Stop.

(But the liberals keep laughing in the end)

I read that the federal election cost taxpayers over $ 600 million. I can’t understand why people are outraged by this. After all, it is probably the most money Justin Trudeau has spent IN Canada since he was elected.

You know what kills me about the right to privacy when it comes to whether you get vaccinated or not? The only people who care about that are the anti-vaccine people that keep us from opening up completely. I also love that they talk about their freedoms. What about my freedoms? I got the injection so we can have our freedoms again; everyone who got the injection got it so we can get back to normal faster. However, these people who are in arms are the ones who keep us masked and do not let us continue with a full life as we want. Selfish is what they all are.
