There is no desire for a streetcar that will cost $ 8.4 million to lock up.

Congratulations to Council Members Fabio Costante, Fred Francis, Joanne Gignac, and Kieran McKenzie for voting against.

These clairvoyant representatives of the city refused to let their vision be blinded by the light emanating from the Celestial Beacon, now renamed the Legacy Beacon.

These four realized that the majority of Windsor citizens are more interested in other priorities right now.

Seriously, do pro-Legacy Beacon council supporters really envision uncontrollable hordes of citizens or tourists pushing and making their way up Caron Avenue to see this great civic offering?

The only visitors may be children looking for their lost playground.

Citizens who agree should carefully consider their options in the next election. Place this vintage cart where it belongs, in a museum setting.

Paying $ 8.4 million is an exorbitant price for a streetcar that most don’t want on the riverbank.
