On April 2, provincial police executed a search warrant at a location on Orange Street.

Members of the Community Street Crime Unit, the Emergency Response Team, and an OPP K-9 unit were involved in the arrest operation.

At the address, police found and seized a small amount of fentanyl, a variety of drug paraphernalia, a large amount of cash, and bear spray.

Shelldon Stewart, 39, of Leamington, faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and failure to comply with a release order (two counts).

In the week since the raid took place, the accused was released into the community on a promise to attend a future court date.
